It is hard to know where exactly the inspiration to create a board game comes from. I have unregretably lost countless hours of my life playing chess. Chess is a beautiful game and I can’t deny that it has inspired me to create my own game. The other kind of games that I love are the classic arcade games like Frogger, Pac-Man, and Space Invaders.

The deceptive thing about chess (and all great games) is that they are deceptively simple. I love when a game can follow a simple set of rules and yet be endlessly entertaining. That is what I have tried to do with Blockade Strategic Dice. I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I have enjoyed creating it.
